Lu from Alpine Active coached me to prepare for a ski touring holiday - each weekly workout has been challenging, varied and most importantly great fun!

At the start of our sessions I could barely lift my body off the ground to do a burpee, by week 4 I was able to keep going for 1 minute. Lu puts a lot of thought and preparation into planning each session and is always happy to be flexible.

I would definitely recommend Lu and Alpine Active to anyone who would like to see an improvement in their strength, fitness, muscle tone and wants to have a personalised and enjoyable experience.

I was already quite fit and active, running and cycling regularly and climbing at least once a week but the additional strength and conditioning program that Lu developed has really complemented my existing training schedule.

At first, I was a little unsure about training with Lu; enjoying the good life (wine, cheese) with a little bit of sport (yoga, gentle jog) on the side suited me just fine - but the idea of being able to try a set of 5 sessions, and being outdoors, sold it to me. The first session was 'an experience': I laughed a lot but also realised I was not as fit as I thought I was, Lu was great and did not make me feel uncomfortable at all! I have become physically stronger and am amazed by how much mentally stronger  I feel too. Having a Tuesday evening appointment allows me to wind down and de-stress. The exercises are varied and I love the fact that we are outdoors. I recommend Lu to everyone who would like to have a personalised, varied, training opportunity, and would like a moment to disconnect from a stressful work environment (while continuing to drink wine and eat cheese!)....
